Are you looking for a fun, easy way to make a difference in the Oshkosh Area? Hosting a food drive is a great way to come together as a team of like-minded individuals to do just that! When the community donates food to the Oshkosh Area Community Pantry it makes a direct impact. Whether it’s a can of vegetables from your pantry or a truckload of cereal from a processing facility, your donation is distributed straight to the tables of hungry families in Southern Winnebago County.
You can create and manage a campaign in any way you choose. When your food drive is complete, we ask that food is delivered to the Oshkosh Area Community Pantry or contact us if you need assistance with a bigger vehicle. If you would like to host a food drive for a specific item or type of food, feel free to contact us about our current highest needs. The Oshkosh Area Community Pantry is supported by community wide drives and events every year.
Some of the events we participate in are:
• The Postal Carrier’s Drive: May
• Boy Scouts Drive: Summer and October
• Farmer’s Market on Main and Festival: June-October
• Lourde Highschool’s Stuff the Bus Event at Festival
