The Oshkosh Area Community Pantry’s (OACP) early years have been times of intense activity and great excitement. With the help of hundreds of dedicated individuals & many community organizations we have been able to make huge progress on our mission to establish a collaborative community food pantry that addresses the food and nutritional needs of our customers, identifies and evaluates our customers’ broader needs and provides access to other community resources that foster independence.

Our 10,000 square foot “store” has been open in the St. Vincent de Paul Center at 2551 Jackson Drive since April 24th of 2009.

Our customers’ response to the “shopping “format continues to be overwhelmingly positive and we have witnessed the true dignity of being able to select grocery items of one’s own choosing.

We rely on volunteers to inspect, sort, shelve and distribute donated food. Become a partner in the fight against hunger.

The volunteer spirit is alive and well in our community. OACP has more than doubled its volunteer ranks with over 250 volunteers offering their time and talents to support our mission. Their acts of faith and kindness are most appreciated and can have a lifetime effect on others.

Stepping up and stepping into the lives of others can make a difference that may literally save a life.
