We’re so excited for your next food drive! Together, we’re going to make an impact on the lives of those in our community who need us most.

Pick Date and Theme

Hosting a collection drive is a great way to support our mission and raise awareness around food insecurity in our community. Your support ensures we can get more food and basic need items into the homes and hands of those that need us most. Thank you for your partnership in eliminating food insecurity in southern Winnebago County!

Promote Collection

Spread the Word: Post your flyers in high traffic areas! Use your company newsletter or e-mail the staff to let them know it’s happening!

Share with Our Team: Email info@oacptoday.org to let us know your drive details and/or tag us on social media. We would love to help you promote!

Get Social: Social media is an excellent way to reach a lot of people with minimal effort. Not sure what to say? Here’s a sample post that will work on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn:

We’re holding a food drive for @oshkoshareacommunitypantry! We’ll be collecting donations of non-perishable on/from {start/end dates} to help end food insecurity in our community. All of the donations will help families in southern Winnebago County. Hope we can count your support!

Collect Items

Set up sturdy cardboard boxes or reusable plastic bins to collect your donations! You can ask for free boxes at grocery or department stores and decorate them with your event flyers.

Get Items to OACP

Congratulations! Your collection drive is complete! Now it’s time to get your items to OACP. Items can be dropped off at 2551 Jackson Street in Oshkosh during our regular donation hours:

Donation Hours:

Monday - Friday : 9 am - 3:30 pm

Saturday & Sunday: Closed

To set up a drop off or pickup of large donations, please contact our Inventory Manager at 920-651-9960 extension 4 or by emailing inventory@oacptoday.org

Food Drive FAQs

  • OACP provides flyers & best practices to help you host a great food drive! Depending on how much food you collect, we may also be able to facilitate a pickup for your donation.

  • Boxes or bins can often be sourced from local grocers and department stores. If you are in need of collection boxes, OACP may be able to assist you with this request.

  • Please see our list of General Needs and Monthly Food Drive Focuses for the most up to date list of our needs.

  • If you collected a large amount of donations and need assistance getting it to OACP, we may be able to assist. To set up a drop off or pickup of large donations, please contact our Inventory Manager at 920-651-9960 extension 4 or by emailing inventory@oacptoday.org
